The UC Blue Ash College Entrepreneur Speaker Series features successful entrepreneurs from the region sharing helpful advice for anyone who is or may be interested in operating their own business. This installment in the series features three social entrepreneurs who are using their expertise to make a difference, while also changing the landscape of philanthropy in our region:
· Joel Bokelman, president of ChangingGears, an organization providing affordable vehicles for people who are working their way out of poverty;
· Lauren LaCerda Merten, executive director of Social Venture Partners, an international network of 3,500 partners investing time, talent and grant money in innovative ways to strengthen local non-profits;
· Craig Young, founder and executive director of Inspiring Service, which focuses on inspiring and celebrating volunteering, sustainability and compassion.
Kent Lutz, professor of Business and Economics at UC Blue Ash, interviews his guests about their experiences and encourages questions from the audience.
